Saltedfishy's: Day 2 - A day around Jeju Island,

16th Nov,

It was a really terrible horrible torture for me to wake up at 6am (korea time) which is actually 5am in the god damn morning of singapore WTF.

Ever since O level ended and I cut off ties with orchid park sec school, I've never woke up before 10am,and the latest record was 4pm.

It was snowing HEAVILY in seoul a few days ago. Thanks a lot Seoul, for snowing when I'm back in singapore.

I know it's hell cold when it's snowing but isn't -2degree's already the right temperature to snow already? Y U NO SNOW U TELL ME !!!!!!!!!!! U RATHER GIVE ME COLD CHILLY WIND ALSO DUN WANT TO SNOW RIGHT. FINE. I DON'T BELIEVE I CAN'T GET TO SEE SNOW. HMPH.

I'm in regret mode nowwwwwwwww, I want to visit the ski place behind the ski resort we stayed so god-damn-much. Angela told us there were actually people who were snowboarding there. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK.

BACK TO JEJU. (FORCE A BIG WIDE SMILE :D)

So I woke up. WITH A STOMACHACHE AGAIN. So I became moodier. I don't know for people but I know I will have extreme bad moods when I wake up every morning. My tolerance level is almost 0% and can be so easily provoked. Moodiest when my hair's in a tangled mess due to the wind. RAWR.

Went down for breakfast with Uncle and Aunty Miaolin, they were our meals'partners throughout the whole trip, always sitting opposite us when we're eating. I didn't even have the mood to take pictures of the buffet breakfast and what I ate zzzzzzzzzz.

Went up to the room after having like 6spoons of porridge? My stomachache got better and it was such a huge relief for me. So I took some pictures from our hotel's balcony's view.

Also wore contacts, 1 day acuvue !

Everyone gathered at the lobby at 8am sharp. Confirm got people late come down mah, so snap snap pictures first !

This will be the only post I cut down on all the pictures cause my picasa web album's 90% full and I had to clear away my pictures from my past posts which is pretty saddening for me. ARGH GOTTA IMPORT THIS BLOG AGAIN NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

I don't like it, cuz I'll feel that my url will have to change for my past posts and the blogger layout will be somehow different, and I'll just feel that it doesn't belong to me anymore, it's no longer from saltedfishys.blogspot.com. But still, posts that are worth to be kept as a memory and worth for me to spend time writing as much as I can will always be by the left side of my blog, LOVE IT.

I hate it when I have to post pictures with just captions and NO WORDS. Like some of my previous posts, I regretted so much. If I had bothered to write more at that time, I would have remembered more at this time. Like in order to make it a good memory, I will have to write as much as I can so that the next time I read it, I can remember a lot and not just seesee-scrollscroll the pictures and some stupid captions alone.

But pictures are important too, just like from this post, I get to remember how my glove looked like cuz I'll never get to see it again.

I left it at the bus we took @ Jeju :( It wasn't cold in the bus at all so I left it on my seats and then the next day I remember, we're already heading to jeju airport on a different bus. Sad.

Around 8+ am.

Board the bus, and we're off for our first destination, Seongsan Sunrise Peak 城山日出峰 ^^

It was like a half an hour ride through a rural highway and XiaoLi taught us some korean, I remember peh apa the most cause it stands for stomachache FML. Bashi-soyeo, Boshi-soyeo !

Along the way, dad called to ask mum how to use the washing machine AHAHA, I also don't know how to use :/ Fell asleep in the end despite mum's constant warning that I was still wearing contacts. The bumpy ride and the farmy scenery makes me sleepy :O

Hate to wake up. But had to. Alighted the bus and felt the chill cause we were by the sea. Almost all of us went to the toilet to hide from the wind and to wear extra coats. I wore 2 ! Everyone of us dreaded to wash our hands too.

XiaoLi told us that we can try to climb to the peak. Like c'mon we're not that stupid please, this 1 hour and 30minute climb mountain? NO LAH OF COURSE. IT'S PHOTOSHOOT TIME AHAHAHA CHIONG AH !

Met Uncle and Auntie Miaolin along the way and we walked down to the bus carpark together. Didn't get to walk down the long flight of stairs towards the small little beach house :(

SAW THIS AND IMMEDIATELY ASKED MUM TO HELP ME TAKE PICTURE.

It's so weird, if i see a IRIS poster in singapore, I wouldn't even bother to take a picture with it. But it's a IRIS poster in KOREA, A KOREAN POSTER FOUND IN KOREA, SO DIEDIE MUST TAKE PICTURE. More to come ahaha ! I'm always looking out for Bigbang posters ^^

Next destination, Tangerine Orchard (Seasonal)

XiaoLi then told us that we can pick the tangerines and stuff it in our pockets and right after he said this, he asked who just told us all these, and we all replied DUN KNOW.

AHAHA I picked 1 only then Auntie Miaolin gave me hers so I had two, 1 for 1 pocket.

Tried a lot of samples there, but didn't buy any of them. I like the chocolate and the rice cracker thing, awesome thumbs up ! (Y)

After some snacks from the sampling, we're on our way for LUNCH. Take pictures again, can't get enough of my lion mane TEEHEE.

PRETTY WINDMILLS

It was again, a rural mini highway along farms and grass and beautiful scenery. Got out of the bus and it was really cold cause I didn't wear my coat since we're eating this

and mum didn't want the smell to stay on the coats too. XiaoLi told us the meat we're eating was from black mountain pigs. I gulped cause it reminded me of the time when AJ and her family brought us to this restaurant in johor whereby they serve black mountain pig's meat and then the next thing I saw was a truck filled with like 3 or 4 dead black mountain pigs with blood all over them. Totally freaked out and cried. -.- Haiz, but it's cruel too that I'm eating chicken and pork and eggs and I'll still eat it for my whole life. :/

Maybe the animals will be humans in their next lives and eat us.

AND THE IRONIC PART CAME. Our next destination was an animal farm which involved watching mini black mountain pigs perform and feeding them carrot sticks WTF. What an irony.

Reached the farm, Hueree Farm - Animals (pigs, rabbits etc) feeding, pigs show, prune juice.

Had to climb up a small little hill and passed by a mini man-made waterfall, along the way there were radios hidden behind trees and bushes and they were playing songs. Songs like Lucifer, and the Bi ri bap bp song by narsha LOL.

Finally reached the place, and the first thing we saw was THIS !

dun know but he look like a HE to me.

Walked to the place where the black mountain pigs perform. Sat at the second row.

Auntie Miaolin, FIERCE.

And the performance started. Everyone rushed to the fence to get a closer view, including me !

Fed carrot sticks to the mama black mountain pigs.

The way they're trapped in a cage like this filled with dirt and the way they can eat the carrot sticks with dirt in it's mouth which they didn't mind at all and the thought that I've just eaten a meal of them seriously made me so guilty. They are lives too, why do they have to go through all these while we can all happily use facebook everyday?

Hope they reincarnate to humans in their next life.

Walked back down and had some prune juice which I gave my whole cup to mum cause it was so sour. Took pictures with Angela :D

Walked down the little hill and took pictures again. I like their flowers, yeapo da ~

Off to our next destination again !

I kinda like such highway roads, like have this countryside feel and not the malaysia 3 or 4 lanes type, but it'll be scary at night with no lights :/

I remembered it was a 20minute drive there and XiaoLi told us how much he disliked Bae Yong Jun and said he's not even handsome at all. This I have to agree. He went on telling us that there was this tour group member (and he said she was an ahjuma) who asked him HOW THE HELL DID HAN SHANGONG DIED IN DA CHANG JIN.

LOL. He said he was so dumbfounded and even asked the ahjuma who is Han Shangong. Then after his tour, he went back home and rented Da Chang Jin disc and finished the whole drama so that he'll be prepared when his tour group ask him qns related to the show next time AHAHA

Reached our 4th destination, TEDDY BEAR MUSEUM !

Went to the 2nd floor which is below 3rd floor and I thought 3rd floor was the ground level until I saw 1st floor which was a garden WHICH WE DIDN'T HAVE ENOUGH TIME TO EXPLORE :(

I actually missed this mona liza then Auntie miaolin told me there's mona liza at 2nd floor so I rushed back to it and took this pic HEHE.

To our 5th destination which was a 2minute drive, Pacific Land ! XiaoLi gave those who wanted the seasick medicine some mini bottles of medicine, and asked them to drink it in the middle of the performance so that the medicine will work for them.

My mum was one of them, she can vomit on a cable car ride, that's how ''seasick'' she can be.

I went to the deck and OMFG saw this. THE SEA'S BENEATH MY LEGS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I didnt really dare to step on the net thingy cause it still felt very unsafe despite all the knots tied over <<<<< and >>>>>>>> then my mum was hiding in the cabin and I didn't want her to be horrified that her daughter just dropped into the sea or smth so I just remained sitting there enjoying the wind.

UNTIL THE PHOTOGRAPHER OF THE YACHT ASKED ME IF I WANNA TAKE A PICTURE AND I JUST SHOOK MY HEAD AND SAID ITS OKAY AND THEN HE GRABBED MY HANDS & LED ME TO STAND ON THE NET AND TOLD ME IT'LL BE FINE (I think, cause it was in korean ahah) AND GAVE ME AN ASSURING SMILE.

So I stood on the net, and he took a picture of me. AND OMG IT FELT SO SCARY YET THRILLING !!!! If given a chance now I would really consider trying to jump on the net but I'm not so stupid yet sianzzzzzz.

Too bad I didn't get the pictures taken by the photographer cause XiaoLi forget to leave my email to them ARGHHHHHHHHHH

40minutes passed like that. The last thing I wish is to own a yacht so I guess it's my first and last chance to take pictures on a yacht :/

Bought the photo that a photographer took for all of us before we got on the yacht, this is where we first spent our won other than the 700won we spent @ airport to buy a bottle of water. The photo was 10000won, which is around $12 which is so much reasonable than Star cruise's one.

When I said Kamsahamida to the lady selling us the photos, she looked so surpirsed and Dae, kamsahamida~ to me and gave me a wide smile. Don't know why but I was kinda surprised too. Thats when I really regretted not learning more korean, if not I can communicate more and not nod my head everytime they try to start a conversation with me in korean.

Left the place and the sun was setting so I caught this picture from my 2nd row seat. SO TUMBLR LOOKING OMG. Nature is really a beauty.

Arrived at the Jeju Glass Castle !

We had around 1 hour here, so it's all pictures again. The father-mother-son-and-a-brother-family <<<<<<< And this photo was taken by their son.

So my mum continued talking to him in hokkien and he kept laughing and jumping AHAHAHA

After taking this picture, I walked around myself cause mum was busy talking to Auntie miaolin and then I saw a couple taking picture, the husband was taking for his wife so I thought it'll be nice if they can both take the picture together. So I went ahead and faced the communication barrier.

Me : *point to the camera, then give a peace sign which stands for 2 and then I looked at the statue they wanted to take picture with.*

And they nodded, '' dae, '' smiled and bowed a little. So I bowed back and smiled too AHAHAHA

Took the picture for them and they thanked me, WOOOO CAUSE I HEARD NOMU KAMSA OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT, got kamsa means thanks ^^ nomu should be very ~ Then they bowed again so I bowed back again too !

I love the experience, helping strangers yet can feel so happy myself. ^^

Goodbye Jeju Glass Castle ~

By the time everyone's onboard the bus, it was already so dark and if I'm not wrong the time was around 5pm or something. Or maybe 6pm. We had one more destination to cover which was the O' Sulloc Green Tea Museum.

So the bus drove us there, and all we saw was just one black field which was actually the green tea field or something. So XiaoLi asked if anybody would want to go down and take some pictures and everyone shook their heads. So he promised that he'll add one more destination for us when we're back in Seoul, WHICH IS THE SHOPPING PLACE THAT I LIKE !

NOT DONGDAEMUN, NOT MYEDONG, it's at Sinchon Station but I don't know the street name of it :(

So we drove back to town area and had dinner @ a seafood restaurant ! Some of the others chose to pay 30000 won or something to eat sashimi etc, since mum & I don't know how to eat those stuff, so we chose the seafood hotpot. ^^ This time shared table with malaysian couple !

We finished dinner early so mum and I told XiaoLi that we're going for a walk at the streets. So we went to their 7-11 to explore ! Mum wanted to buy a drink for the driver who had to stay in the bus to take care of our things, so she asked me to choose.

Quite cool, 40% of the drinks have kpop stars printed on them ! Decided to buy apple juice for the driver, healthy ! AND WHO'S FACE ON THE BOTTLE? LEE SEUNG GI FROM 2 DAYS 1 NIGHT WEEEEEEEE

Also witnessed how koreans love the show too, many of them dressed in officewear were standing outside a shop which was showing 2 Days 1 Night and they were just staring at it and laughing. GOOD LAH, NO NEED ENG SUB TO UNDERSTANDZZZZZZZ.

AND Lee Seunggi is like everywhere in korea. Can see him advertising for Pizzas, face printed on Apple juice bottles, a random tv commercial for a FRIDGE, AND HIS FACE IS EVERYWHERE AT MYEDONG FOR COSMETICS.

Sun burned on the cheeks. It always looks nice on the first day, FREE BLUSHER WHAT. Then next day jialat, need aloe vera gel already :/

Handed the apple juice to the driver and he thanked us but I don't know how to freakin say ''No problem '' in korean so I just smiled back and nodded. NOOB ME!!!!!!!!!!!!

Back to the Jeju Pacific Hotel !
