Back home from the CNY getaway we had over the sea @ sentosa ! Stayed over at hard rock hotel for 2 nights and both mum and I gained weight. :X Hmm didn't get to go USS even though I really really REALLYYYYY wanna go..

Hmmm it's 1.35am now and I've charged my phone for around 3hours already but it's still not full yet :/ School is another sucky day, had stats tutorial early in the morning at 8am, managed to doze awhile in the car while mum's playing the oldies playlist that I gave her, then dad's singing along with it...

I just wish they can drive me around and then the 3 of us can just enjoy the music and forget about dropping me off to school, the old music playing in the car reminds me so much of the hours we spent on the malaysia highway, just lazing off and enjoying everything

Wanna go malaysia so much this CNY, haven't been back to ipoh for like years already, miss the ipoh hor fun, miss the ngar choi gai..

Got back eff writing, got 34/50, she said I direct translated some of the english phrases from chinese :X Got back stats also, got 28.5/30, all the marks lost at the graph drawing and the graph labels walao, the highest score wad 29.5/30, the half mark is so important . . .

Poa special journal test tmrw, I took a nap at ard 6pm just now and set my alarm at 6am, thought I'll make it to the morning alr because I rarely wake up when I take late naps like this

So I woke up ard 9.45pm, just in time for 康熙来了!

Anw lost my eraser today, really.. Why do I keep losing things. So I went back to lvl 5 to find my eraser, the teacher asked me what I was finding but I thought he'll just give the -___- if I say eraser so I just said my thumbdrive

Hahah but I was looking for it on the floor, went to the next lab and found one eraser on the floor that doesn't belong to me

I'll take care of you from now on, I'll treat you just like my own eraser, poor thing, the owner lost the eraser, just like me, wonder how my eraser's doing

This is the song that made me cry so much in Triumph In the Skies, when Joe Ma (Vincent) died in Rome and Flora Chan is so devastated omg, I have all 3 background music of this drama but I couldn't find this particular one that is the saddest one and I finally found it after so many years, 2003 to 2012, 9 years till I finally find a link to this song !!!!!!!!!

And there's kind souls out there who remade the song cause they love it alot too ;)

I'm just so happy now, and I just found out that there will be Triumph In The Skies II and War and Beauty II, both are my top fav OLD tvb dramas and they are finally coming out with a sequel ! Yes yes, I may be very slow in catching up with new tvb dramas and I'm often laughed by others cause I'm slowwwwww BUT IF anyone want to compete about the amount of old tvb dramas watched, I can really remember quite a lot, the titles, the themesongs, this is where all my memory space go to...

Old tvb dramas are always the best, they make me want to go back to the ancient times so much... with a sword at my back like a heroine with my hero and then we just roam around the world saving the poors and then live by the meadows or something.... but I will just die if I were to be some palace maid -_-

I started watching tvb dramas from around 4years old, my mum used to rent the tapes from those tvb shops and from then, they're like part of my life already. The songs they used are stuck in my mind and when I get to hear it on youtube, it's rly one of the best feelings ever

It's so magical that sometimes I can remember which drama these songs are from but yet I can't remember a single shit I learnt in school yesterday

Just because I can't answer your qns, it doesn't mean I didn't do my work. I did, I really did. Although there are some parts that I'm really not very sure about BUT I DID SPENT EFFORT ON DOING UP THE DATA AND ALL. I TYPED THEM ALL. Maybe not ALL but I did do my part, I did, I fucking did.

I'm normally okay with D grades cuz as long as I pass and not fail, I'm usually contented BUT THIS, I JUST CAN'T ACCEPT. Especially when the grades are given by you, mophead. Your face spells "bias".

So she was degrading all the ones who scored badly for Access project then it came to the individual Access test, Tiff and I were like "Wah still haven't call us yet, got chance get A!!" AND WE REALLY DID GOT A, got 74/80 for my access test AND YOU KNOW WHAT SHE SAID WHEN SHE CALLED MY NAME?

Just woke up from a mini nap, which is less than 2 hrs, waking up from a nap and feeling lost as ever. I wanna get to my dreams sometimes.

Hahah nowadays I wake up not because of my alarm but because of the msgs. Esp those about projects. I'm just so lazy. I'm such a lazy person, how am I gonna go school next week? I dreamt of so much things, I even dreamt of going USS with both mum and dad and we took some inverted pirate ship ride which does not even exist.

Then I dreamt of going another themepark at Hougang??? I've never been to hougang honestly, I don't even know if this is the right spelling. Anw there's this damn swag red roller coaster there, the track goes vertically down which is really worth shitting bricks

Ytd i slept ard 9+pm, very early. Because I didn't sleep at all for 2 whole days. The prev night I was rolling around my bed from 2+am all the way till 7am. I was scolding myself that there's project meeting ltr, why can't I just close my eyes and sleep then when I see the brighter sky, I know I no longer have enough time to sleep...

So dad came into my room as usual to close the curtain thingy for me to sleep more cosily in the dark room but I just simply said, LONG HOR LE HAI (all your fault) and he gets what I meant and laughed out

I also believe that I can sleep with coffee because I can with tea. But my mum totally can't, and my dad can just sleep right after drinking coffee. So I thought hmm I probably can and it's just a mini cup of it...

I actually went out of my bed and headed to my nap sofa at the living room, facing the window, looking at the sunrise, trying to sleep but really it's not working for me. The nap sofa nvr fails to make me fall asleep, esp naps, just lie down and booom off I'm to my dreams

So around 7am+, I went out with mum and dad for breakfast !!!!!!! How many years had it been ever since I go breakfast with them feeling energised (though my eyes are dead tired), holding their hands, taking pix, and the TIME. It's 7am+

This is the deadly timing. I am forever grumpy at this timing. Forever. I won't be smiling, I won't even be talking and worst? I throw bad tantrums.

So I told them it's so rare to see me smiling and talking to you all at 7am, even going to 8head for breakfast, that's like before sec 1 times :/

Mum was like doing some face-hunting on my face, trying to find my pimples after not sleeping for that day.
After breakfast, went home to blast MTV so that I don't feel tired but I really damn tired at that time, actually I'm tired all the while BUT I JUST CAN'T FALL ASLEEP

Project meeting all the way till 3.30pm, met them at Loklokdip and then went goodspeed for L4D2, that aircon is so freezing cold, directly, so I just keep imagining the snow ard me, make me feel better

After zombie killing, randomly headed to orchard cause they wanna get the cap and shoes, daven got the Obey cap I want... at least it's not the navy blue one. The cap is so cute :(

The Vanilla Dirt Cake ($8.50) looks exactly like a real potted flower! We were so amazed that we took photos of it from all different angles until we decided that enough was enough. Haha :P

Look! The dirt cake is topped with crushed Oreo bits to replicate the appearance of soil. Is that yucks or what? While the gummy worms failed to pass off as real worms (we didn’t scream), the Oreo bits were enough to make us think twice about digging in, whichever way you wanna interpret this.

Yup dig in and dig in! :) The Vanilla Dirt Cake is highly recommended for the incredible experience that is associated with eating it. It is easily mistaken for vanilla and cream cheese ice cream, given its icy cold texture. I’m not sure if it’s supposed to make you feel as though you are really digging through soil! We certainly didn’t regret ordering this :)

Vanilla Bar & Cafe is a small and cosy place, seating capacity is about 20 indoors and 5 in the courtyard. Unfortunately for us, there was an event and some dude booked the entire indoor seating so we had to sit outdoors. Surprisingly, it did not turn out too bad, in fact, it felt really quaint! Over our heads was the well-maintained exteriors of the shophouse, and we were surrounded by the lush greenery. It almost felt like we were somewhere else altogether, definitely not in CBD.

The order of the day: my norwegian salmon with egg mayo sandwich. never knew such a combo could be so heavenly. With the panini well toasted (and with sexy grill marks), it omes together superbly with the creamy egg mayo andt the salmon provided the punch. Would had been really the perfect meal if there was a serving of cream cheese. :)

A standout: my dining partner's japanese katsu curry. the meat was nicely fried and did not lose the crispiness even though it was generously doused in Japanese curry. I for one loves the root vegetables simmered in gravy/curry/sauce and this is no exception.

You can look forward to the value deal of adding $1.50 for a drink (coffee/tea/soft drink)!! Our total dining bill was a mere $25. What a bargain! Considering it's in CBD!

Great getaway at such an unlikely place! A good (short) get-away from the hustle and bustle of work in the middle of a work week. :)

When you're born with a heart ailment threatening you all your life, what can you do? This teenager not only lived life to the fullest, but also posted a video which inspired thousands worldwide to treasure their own lives.

"In the video, Ben Breedlove, 18, who was suffering from hypertrophic cardiomyopathy -- a thickening of the heart muscle -- related the three near-death experiences he had gone through in his life.

"Watching the video makes you realise how precious life really is, and that all of the world's biggest problems really don't matter, at the end of the day."

Over 1,500 people attended a memorial service for Ben Breedlove, a Texas teenager who died of a heart condition on Christmas 2011.

Breedlove, 18, lived with a heart condition called hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) for all of his life struggling just to survive and live his life to the fullest in spite of his condition.

As if knowing that his life was nearing the end, Ben posted a 2 part silent farewell of sorts on December 18th, on Youtube and can be found here. Since his death the video has gone viral with some 2.3 million views as of the writing of this article.

In the video entitled “This is my story, Ben flashes pre-written flash cards to the viewers explaining the various stages and experiences in his life along with a near death experience where he saw a bright light hovering above himself and that he could not even begin to express the peaceful feeling and he also stated that “There was this big bright light above me … I couldn’t make out what it was because it was so bright. I told my mom, ‘Look at the bright light’ and pointed up. She said she didn’t see anything,” Ben also wrote: “There were no lights on in this hall. I couldn’t take my eyes off it. And I couldn’t help but smile. I had no worries at all, like nothing else in the world mattered.” He continued on stating: “I cannot even begin to describe the peace, how peaceful it was,” he wrote. “I will NEVER forget that feeling or that day.

Ben touched the hearts of many during his short life and especially near the end, planting so much positive energy and hope into his messages as can be seen through the messages he posted in his last 2 part video on Youtube.

Our thoughts, hopes, and prayers go out to Ben and his family who have been blessed to have known such a gentle soul.

Watching someone making a video like that, yet that someone is no longer alive now. He's still living and enjoying life a few days ago, he knew he couldn't anymore, he died on Christmas, a week after he posted the 2 videos.

It's really heart-wrenching. He was still living and enjoying life a few days ago. He hoped to live the same as everyone else. It's like the movie In Time, you wanna live on with life, just a simple ordinary life, but yet you're not allowed to.

Being able to live became so precious now. Being able to walk around my house, able to drink water, able to type all these, it shows that I'm alive and living. I'm able to do so many things that some people don't even have the chance to.

Life is so precious.

He made me realise something simple. No matter what happens in life, whatever ups and downs we have, it doesn't matter, because at least we are still able to be alive, still able to live on.

I’m loving city hunter yet it’s story was full of hurt and revenge. :’( Lee Min Ho played a good role as city hunter. The role as Yeon Seong, suites him well. And of course, Jun Pyo role stays with him. There were times in this korean drama that shows Jun Pyo’s character, the rich guy with the angst. (it’s what I see. :D) Looking forward to finish city hunter as soon as possible. :))
